Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Nuvya ("the Service") at nuvya.world, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using Nuvya on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Nuvya is an AI-powered school management platform that provides tools for student management, attendance tracking, fee collection, parent communication (including WhatsApp messaging), timetabling, exam management, and school growth analytics. Features vary by subscription plan.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One school account may have multiple users based on your subscription plan.

4. Subscription & Payment

  • Nuvya offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed annually per student.
  • All prices are exclusive of GST (18%) unless stated otherwise.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are issued at our discretion. Contact support@nuvya.world within 7 days of billing for refund requests.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
  • Attempt to access other schools' data or breach platform security.
  • Use the WhatsApp integration for spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the platform's source code.
  • Resell or sublicense access to the platform without our written consent.

6. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you input into Nuvya (student records, attendance, fees, etc.). You grant Nuvya a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership over your school's data.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform software, designs, algorithms, and content created by Nuvya are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Uptime & Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for losses arising from service unavailability beyond our reasonable control.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nuvya shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the platform will be disabled. You may request a data export before termination. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 14 days notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
